Dr. Russel McKenna, DO was born and raised in Cache Valley, graduating from Sky View High School and Utah State University with a degree in Biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City in 2001 and completed his pediatric residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in 2004.

Board-certified in Pediatrics, Dr. McKenna is dedicated to providing compassionate care for children of all ages. He values building lasting relationships with families and guiding patients through every stage of childhood and adolescence.

A proud Cache Valley native, Dr. McKenna and his wife Julie are raising their seven children here. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and being part of the community he has always called home.
